Rolens does not create a Rolens account and does not upload your photographs to a Rolens server. Most Rolens data is deleted directly on your device.
Delete photographs from Rolens
- Open the Rolens gallery.
- Open a photograph and use Delete, or select multiple photographs and delete the selection.
- Confirm the deletion. Rolens removes the app-owned master, derivatives, thumbnail, edit document, and related local gallery records.
A copy previously exported to Apple Photos or the Android media library is separate. Delete that copy in the system Photos or Gallery app if you also want it removed.
Delete all local Rolens data
Uninstall Rolens to remove its private app storage, including internal photographs, rolls, albums, edit state, preferences, anonymous local identifiers, and downloaded catalog cache. On Android, clearing Rolens storage has the same local effect while leaving the app installed. Operating-system backups and exported photo-library copies are controlled by your Apple, Google, or device backup settings and are not removed by uninstalling Rolens.
Purchases and subscriptions
Uninstalling Rolens does not cancel a subscription and does not erase store transaction records. Manage or cancel the subscription in Apple App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google retains transaction records under its legal and financial obligations. RevenueCat keeps an anonymous app user identifier and purchase/entitlement history used to validate and restore access.
Request deletion of identifiable service data
To request deletion of a support conversation or purchase-related record that can be identified, email support@rolens.cam with the subject Rolens data deletion request. Include:
- whether the request concerns support email, advertising, or a purchase record;
- your platform and the product involved;
- the Apple transaction ID or Google Play order ID only if the request concerns a purchase.
Do not send your payment card number, Apple ID password, Google password, or unrelated photographs. We will verify what can be identified, request deletion from relevant processors where applicable, and explain any record that must be retained for fraud prevention, transaction integrity, tax, accounting, or other legal duties.
Advertising choices
Where required, Google's consent message (shown on both Android and iOS in the EEA/UK) records your advertising privacy choice before Rolens requests ads. On Android, you can reset or delete the advertising ID in Android privacy settings. On iOS, this version of Rolens does not request IDFA or show an App Tracking Transparency prompt, so there is no advertising identifier to reset. Requests concerning data processed by Google are also subject to Google's privacy controls and retention rules.
